Atty. Edward P. Chico is currently a law firm partner, professor of civil and commercial law review, bar reviewer and consultant to various government agencies and private corporations.

Having obtained a degree in journalism from UP Diliman, he has always been active one way or another in mass media, occasionally writing columns for newspapers and magazines. He has a radio show in Radyo Veritas since 2012, and in Vanguard Radio Network, which airs his program “Batas Batas” simultaneously over its various stations in the country. In addition, he is often invited as a legal expert and political analyst in various tv and radio programs.

Atty. Chico finished his undergraduate degree and Juris Doctor degree as a working student. In fact, in Ateneo Law school, he completed the program in four (4) years while working for Senator Mirriam Defensor Santiago as her Chief Legislative Officer, Assistant Editor of BSP Magazine and radio anchor for DWSS for a Saturday afternoon program called “Youthspeak.” He graduated as an elementary and high school valedictorian.

He is a stand-up comedian and was regarded as one of the 10 funniest Filipinos by ANC TV Network in 2020. He loves movies, occasionally listens to BTS, albeit he really loves classic rock and jazz and believes that survival in itself is a noble fight. Of course, he loves his wife, children and parents more than anything else.
