Prosecutor Castro is the Associate City Prosecutor of the City of Santa Rosa, Laguna. He has extensive teaching experience as a Professor of Law in several law schools across the Philippines, such as the Philippine Law School, university of Perpetual Help System Laguna College of Law, Adamson University College of Law, and the University of Santo Tomas Faculty of Civil Law. He is a proficient MCLE Lecturer in the fields of Criminal Law, Judicial Ethics and Environmental and Agrarian Law.

He started his law career in the Office of the Solicitor General, where he rose to the rank of Associate Solicitor I, II and III from 2013 to 2019. He has appeared as a guest on People’s Court with the topic of Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.

He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of the East, and his Bachelor of Laws from the same school in 2007. He then took and passed the Philippine Bar in 2011.
