Our LECTURERS

Atty. Ray Paolo (Arpee) J. Santiago is the Executive Director of the Ateneo Human Rights Center, based at the Law School of the Ateneo de Manila University. He is active in public interest litigation; policy research and analysis; drafting laws and lobbying for legislative reform; and giving lectures on human rights, women and children’s rights and governance topics. He is also a Professorial Lecturer of the Ateneo Law School and Institute of Law of the Far Eastern University, teaching Constitutional Law and Human Rights, among others.

Atty. Santiago is also currently the Co-Chair of the Philippine Coalition for the International Criminal Court and a Council Member of the Alternative Law Groups. He has been a recipient of the Freedom Flame Award of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation (2014), the inaugural ASEAN Peoples Award (2015), and Achievement Award of the U.P. Vanguard, Inc. (2016)

Arpee took up his Bachelor of Arts Degree Major in Public Administration at University of the Philippines and Juris Doctor Degree at Ateneo de Manila University.
