Our LECTURERS

Donna Zapa-Gasgonia graduated from the University of the Philippines College of Law in 1981 and passed the Bar examinations in 1982. She received her Master of Laws degree from the Schulich School of Law, Dalhousie University, Halifax, Canada in 1993. She is an A.B. Philosophy graduate cum laude of the U.P. College of Arts and Sciences, Diliman. 

Further, she is the supervising lawyer of the Environmental Litigation Clinic of the U.P. Law Clinical Legal Education Program and teaches Property Law, and Elective Law and Environment at the U.P. College of Law. She is a mentor at the Paralegal Training Program of the U.P. Law Center and a lecturer at the U.P. Institute for the Administration of Justice – MCLE on Environmental Law and Policy.  Likewise, she also teaches Environmental and Natural Resources Law at the DLSU Tañada-Diokno School of Law. She also served as a lecturer on environmental clinical education of the Legal Education Board in November 2021. 

Atty. Gasgonia authored the book entitled “Environmental Law and Policy: Philippines”, published by the U.P. Law Center in 2021.
